Quality control and other testing laboratories play a critical role for manufacturers, as well as research and development organizations. The data they generate is often a proxy for a product’s safety, quality and performance. Analysts who test products are usually the last line of defense to prevent substandard products from reaching and negatively impacting consumers. For research and development, the direction of projects can be solely guided by test results that laboratories generate. Their importance to organizations often means a high pressure for testing laboratories to perform constantly and consistently. Some factors that compound stresses for many testing laboratories are the variety of internal and/or external customers, high sample volumes, large variety of tests, tight timelines, difficult customers and diverging priorities.
This webinar will shed light on processes, systems, organizational considerations and other factors that can create higher performing laboratories in both normal and challenging work environments.
